Additional Comments:
We have to board as we have no acreage. We've had to sell our Dakota, a gelding paint, and also Annie. We do not want to but we need to. We are keeping Annie's foal.Annie is a sweetie! Totally out of shape right now as she has not been under saddle since end of December, beginning of January (beginning of her third trimester). We rode her Sunday, 11/15 and she tired easily but did really good for not having the right saddle on her. She needs a 14" or 15" saddle, no bigger, as she does not like having anything on her withers besides a brush and loving hand. She even did great bare back. Her tempermant is awesome and she is a fantastic mom. She loves trail riding and will tolerate indoor arena riding. She is sometimes a little stiff in her rear left leg but after lunging she is fine. Vet check it out in September when she had all her shots, Coggins, and teeth floated and said nothing was wrong with her leg.She stands for saddle, haltering, lifts feet for hoof cleaning, etc. She is a really good horse, a great brood mare, and loves to trail ride. What more can you ask for?Annie is a beautiful 11 year old Sorrel Paint/Tobiano with a good temperament and gorgeous markings; white mane, legs, brown chest shield, tail. She is registered with American Paint Horse Association (474,895) and Pinto Horse Association (102074). She was registered with the American Quarter Horse Association but we did not renew when we bought her in April of 2006.Annie's bloodline is excellent with SONNY DEE BAR and BLUE MAX in her lineage. She is a fantastic mom and has thrown 3 beautiful colts thus far (we have her third foal, pictured). Annie was professionally trained before we bought her and we also had her professionally trained by Heidi Green. She has a smooth trot, lope, and gallop. She is ready when you are for the trails and we feel the more experienced rider you are, the more you'll enjoy all she has to offer. She'll be the first one through water, over a bridge, or up a hill.We specifically bought Annie for her bloodline. We decided to breed a year ago because of her bloodline. We have no intentions of breeding again and we have decided to keep her foal to show. Up-to-date on all shots, worming, hoof trimming, teeth floating, Coggins.Stands well for trimming nails, bathing, cleaning hoofs, haltering, saddling, etc. The barn where we board has over 60 head of horses so she is used to other horses, 4-wheelers, dogs, cats, Guinea hens, people coming/going, etc. She loves the pasture during spring/summer/fall and settles for the barn in the winter.
