Super fun, great gaiting family horse! Charlie is just the nicest little guy you could find. Confidence builder extraordinaire. Charlie has taught many, many people how to ride. He is exceptionally well behaved and knows exactly what to do when you ask him. Charlie is a handsome chestnut tobiano with a super thick and long mane and tail. He is a charmer. Charlie is very gentle for children to be around and play with. For adults he is a great ride as well. Charlie is a super smooth gaiting pony. Solid four beat gait which he will do slow or fast for you. Charlie is content to just walk along too. If you just want to walk on down the trail, that will be just fine with Charlie. He will walk on a loose rein and gait on a loose rein. He is very, very, very easy to ride. There are no skills needed to enjoy Charlie's super smooth gaits. Just ask him and he will gait for you. If you want to stop a verbal "whoa" is all you need. He will walk for beginners and behave like a gentleman and then for those who want to have a little fun he will not disappoint you. Charlie is another one of our push button horses. Charlie's ground manners are perfect and he will do anything you want. Cross tie, ground tie, bathe, clip, groom easily, tack up without any issues, easy to load/unload, trailer, lead, handle... No issues or vices at all. In the saddle he will back up, listen to verbal cues, walk and gait on a loose rein, stand to mount/dismount, go out alone or in a group, lead, follow, walk along quietly... He is great with traffic, dogs, ATV's bikes, motorcycles, deer, turkeys, crossing water, he has been there and done that. There is nothing spooky or jumpy about him. He is honest and reliable. Charlie would be an excellent pony for anyone looking for a confident, reliable, no non-sense mount. Children, nervous riders, first time riders, elderly, anyone and everyone can ride Charlie.
