Roan ("ROWAN") is a fabulous young mare with a super work ethic, big lovely gaits and a fun trusting personality. She has been WELL been started under saddle and even has great trail riding experience going on various trails throughout the TC Metro area including under viaducts and introduced to water. She loads and hauls well, is completely safe and sane and is just as sweet and kind as can be. This mare, even though she is young IS SUITABLE for an amateur or youth rider. Roan has a very solid start as a future sporthorse - walk/trot/canter and impeccable ground manners. She is curious and willing to please and will be an excellent dressage, eventing or jumping prospect. Her form over fences is good. Roan is healthy and sound and sells with a current negative coggins, current on feet trimming, worming and if going out of state will sell with an interstate health certificate. ONE note on Roan's condition - this past winter she was pushed into a fence by another horse and received a tear on her side that required stitches. It is healed but will take additional time for the scar to reduce in size. This does NOT affect her riding nor does it cause her pain. The veterinarian who did the stitching confirms that it did not affect the muscle and that the stitching scar will continue to decrease in size. This filly has received excellent care and tons of love from the beginning of her life - and it shows. She is affectionate, warm and gentle with a trusting personality. The ONLY reason she is now for sale is the economy is forcing the owner to sell. This mare is 100% free of vices - she ties, cross ties, is easy to catch, good to groom and tack up, good for farrier and vet. Roan should mature to 16.3-17 hands
