Austen is an approximately 5 year old, 14.1 hand, unregistered Paint/Pinto Gelding. This super young fellow is doing exceptionally well in training and currently working in the walk, trot and canter in the ring. He loves to jump and will jump for fun in his paddock while playing. He is also trail riding with ease.Austen trailers easily and can be loaded and unloaded with one person. He travels well and is the same horse on and off the property. Other attributes are that he crossties, bathes, is excellent for farrier, vet, and dentist, and he has a super personality. His personal attributes are that he is very engaged with people, comes to visit, loves to be groomed and scratched, gets along with all other horses, and is easy to live with. He is sound, has excellent feet, cute and stocky conformation, is an easy keeper and is extremely neat in his stall and paddock if he is in. Of course no horse is perfect and Austen does have one minor vice as he does crib (wind suck no wood chewing) after treats or a grain meal. He does not wear a cribbing collar as this is how infrequently he does it.Currently living in an in and out stall and is not bothered by weather, bugs or any other things that might bother another horse. I am looking for an excellent home that will enjoy the laughter he brings and the talent he holds. He would be a perfect eventing pony as he is athletic, bold, and loves the woods.
