*UPDATE* I carried Hidalgo with me to look for a saddle at our local sell this past weekend which gave me the opportunity to see how he does around with lots of people and activity going on around him.....HE IS GREAT!! Not only was I able to open numerous gates off of him, he was not bothered by all the people, noise and/or other horses! He is as solid as they come and super, super safe! I've also walked and trotted the barrels on him several times now and he is picking things up extremely quick! Would take no time to have him patterned and ready to run! I also have a Shetland Colt we recently weaned who literally ran under Hidalgo's belly and stood there, Hidalgo never budged! You can bet that ANYONE is safe on and around this outstanding Gelding!

He was owned by one Family for the past 5 years and everyone in the Family learned to ride ON THIS GELDING! They said it did not matter if you knew how to ride or not, he is easy to ride and SAFE!!! Easy to handle and does what you ask of him right when you ask him to do it! Great stop and back up, neck reins, very laid back, super disposition, easy to catch, load/haul, stands tied, stands for farrier, picks up all four feet with no problem, loves a bath, clips, absolutely NO PROBLEM to saddle or mount, (you can almost say he is lazy since walking is what he likes to do best), does NOt SPOOK, no bad habits, 100% sound with no past or present health or soundness issues, sells with brand new coggins papers & health papers will be provided to all out of state buyers at no additional charge, up to date on all wormings/vaccinations, easy keeper, and anxiously waiting to meet his new family since his previous owners (remember they had him for 5 years!) were forced to sell him at the last minute without the chance to say good bye(took new job in another state and had no land at their new home). He has been on numerous Trail Rides, ridden in several parades, and used in a couple of Playdays by a 13 year old boy for all events. Though he is not "patterned on Barrels or Poles" he handles well enough to ride in ALL of the events! You can teach him or learn together!!!! Excellent PROSPECT for JUDGED or SPEED EVENTS!!!
