(I can send you more pictures, this one isn't the most flattering). Sally is such a gentle horse on both the ground and when riding. I did not intend to buy her, but I did as most of her mane and tail had fallen out due to a fungus (I got rid of that and her mane and tail are slowly growing in.) She had terrible, bloody rub marks from an overly tightened tie down, so I rode her without one for a long time, however, without it, when she slows down from a lope, she tends to throw her nose up a little, but is getting better. I use a loose tie down if a younger rider is riding her just in case, but I don't know that she really needs it. She is easy to catch, bathe, groom, trim, shoe, etc. Sally will do anything for you and is very forgiving. She hauled kids around all day at our local kids rodeo. When they jumped off to tie a goat, she stood there and watched and waited for her rider to come back. Anyone can ride Sally, my 2 year old rides her, but he is not strong enough to neck rein or direct rein her, but she will follow me at the walk and trot while he rides. I must sell Sally as I did not need her in the first place. But I must sell her in the next two weeks or she will have to go to sale, sadly. Recently she completed a trail course with a wooden bridge, open and closing a gate, a reining pattern and some arena work. She is not a champion, but she will go all day on a trail and take care of you, and she is good for playdays if you just want to go enjoy yourself, but I am not promising any ribbons (sorry Sally).
