Anyone that can sit on a chair can ride her! This lovely lady is pushbutton - neither timid, nor aggressive - a SAFE, dependable trail mount - she will go anywhere and do anything asked - giving 110% each and every time. She has been trail ridden all of her life, by adults and children. Would be a great horse for someone new to "gaited horses". She is content to walk along all day if desired...a great confidence building horse for a timid type rider (like my nine year old daughter shown in some of the photos)! She would also be great for someone who rides with non-gaited friends, as she is not too "hot" to "plod along" with her pals, but answers willingly when called upon for her swift, smooth gait! My 9 year old daughter and I have been trail riding her and we used her recently at the Field Trials where she was unflappable...the shotguns, birds fluttering, dogs running, crazy horses running by...nothing phases her and she never ceases to amaze me! She greets you in the morning with a fantastic "What do you want to do today?" attitude! This 14.3h, 10-year old mare is registered NSSHA, and handles the trails safely & calmly. She will take care of you on the roughest of terrains. Stands still to mount and dismount. Leave her in the pasture for months and she will be the same reliable gal next time you ride - she is an honest and safe trail mount - a true bomb-proof trail horse! If you would enjoy a "been there, done that" kind of horse, safe and reliable, then you need to take a serious look at this beautiful mare! Current on everything.
