Lightning is an excellent TEAM PENNING horse with lots of speed and endurence. He really knows how to read a cow and can turn on a dime. Out side of team penning, Lightning is regularly used for trail riding. He crosses water, goes up and down hills, and rides through mud. He lives on a farm so large machinery is no problem and he is road safe. Lightning requires an experienced rider since he has a lot of energy. I do not recommend him for a pleasure trail horse since he tends to get excited on the trail and he will leap forward when excited. He would be excellent for endurance riding and ranch work or any discipline that gives him a job to do. I would like to sell him as a competition horse since that is what he excels in. We do not suggest him as an english horse since he is broke western and does not like constant pressure on his mouth. Selling for financial reasons.
