Additional Comments:
Economic hardship and moving forces sale. What a pedigree - this girl has it all! Her pedigree reads like a virtual who's who of the thoroughbred world and boasts some of the greatest horses and 2 triple crown Champions of all time. She's a Storm Cat Grandaughter and won 2 out of 8 races. Storm Cat (highest stud fee of all time a whopping 500k), Secretariat and Seattle Slew both triple crown Champions, Northern dancer the foundation of the modern thoroughbred and Champion racehorse, Hoist the Flag 2x a Champion from the Ribot line (Ribot was rated the 3rd fastest horse of all time by time form magazine), War Admiral (the famous east coast champion that was Seabiscuit's rival) and back to Man o' War himself rated the number one Thoroughbred of all time by several books and horseracing Magazines. View one of her winning races on handride.com She is a beautiful horse with a good diposition. She is fast - gallops to the end of her corral and stops on a dime. Sometimes I wonder if she would be a good barrel racing horse. She has a knobby knee but it doesn't hurt her at all or interfere with her running though I think jumping might hurt. I think she would be a great show, dressage prospect as she is very pretty with a long flowing tail nearly to the ground. Of course with a pedigree like this breeding will probably be high on your to do list with her but I think she'd make a great saddle/show horse with additional training. I may consider a free placement to the right home IF I feel comfoprtable with you and if you use a reputable shipper. I highly recomend the shipper I used last time (he hauled her from Maryland to Montana and she arrived in excellent condition. He charged only 1,000 for that looong trip during the height of gas prices - it would probably be cheaper now). She comes with her good winter blanket, 2 feed bowls, 1 bucket, grooming brushes, nylon halter and lead rope.
