This filly and her half sister (a 5yr old APHA mare) were bred and raised by our farm. We sold this filly as a yearling to an elderly couple that just wanted a baby to raise and mess with, and due to medical issues with their daughter, they are not able to keep their horses so we bought them back and are trying to find homes for them. "Lena" is very pretty, has gorgeous markings and is tri colored---she has an unusual roan patch on right side of her hindquarters and a "skunky" looking tail. She is out of my tri colored tobiano stallion and a sorrel tobiano mare that I just sold. She could be homozygous for tobiano and shows signs of having that trait. She cut her front foot a couple months ago and has a small scar and the foot is a little bigger than the other one, but she is not limping on it--I have pic I can email of her foot--it really isnt bad, as well as a few others of her. She has the perfect conformation for a western pleasure horse or hunter under saddle and is very feminine looking and has the b-lines to do anything. We are going to start her lightly under saddle and see how she does. She is very sweet and is built very nice and has gorgeous markings--she just needs someone who has time to mess with her and give her a "job" to do. More Pics are available.
