Basil is a 7 year old, 16.2h, bay, TB gelding. Confident in his job, with a laid back personality, this gelding would suit many disciplines, and rider styles. Unimposing, and highly personable Basil has spent the last few years of his life in a small boarding/riding school environment.
Currently this gelding is schooling a few days a week, with a focus towards the dressage ring. With lofty, powerful strides he is W/T/C in a frame, coming nicely underneath himself. He easily bends, responds to seat and hand aids, as well as lateral requests. Although still slightly green in contact at the canter, he has quiet rolling gaits, and will continue to develop into a wonderful all around mount.
