this colt is extremely intelligent and willing to learn, I have just recently started REALLY working with him and am amazed how quick he is to accept anything I am teaching him, He has had his feet trimmed and stood very well for his first time, I have clipped him, whiskers ears, bridal path, etc. doing well on lead line, have started introduction to the water hose, he is also very gentle will NOT kick, does try to nibble every once and a while , have lounged him on a short lead line. I did not register him but he can be I have his sire and damn on the property, His sire is 16 1 black and white overo, Arks Royal Max,( blue max breeding,) the sire is also homozygous for the black gene, this colt could very well carry these same genes, would make an excellent stallion prospect, as he is showing alot of his sires attributes, very calm, quiet, not a mean bone in his body. wants to be worked with and enjoys company of people. his sire worked on one of the largest cattle ranches in the u.s for several years, and competed and won in ranch rodeos throughout the midwest. was shown in western pleasure and did very well (although it was not our cup of tea) this colt is a good mover and would and could do just about anything anyone would want and because of his height he would also make a jood hunter jumper prospect. he will top out to be at least 16 hands. he is already 14.2 at 14 months old, his sire was 14.2 as a two year old. because of the economy and job relocation I need to sell him, I am offering him for 2500. registered or I will accept 1800. unregistered but will supply all the necessary paperwork for you to register him. He is going to be a magnificent animal, you would be getting one of those horses you will never forget.
