John is a big sweetie. Gets along with others, good for farrier. I was told by a former owner that he was a perfect gentleman on the trails, but he has only been ridden a handful of times in the last year or so and those times were bareback. I've owned him for 3 months and have ridden him 4 times, all bareback with a halter which isn't the best for evaluating, but he didn't make any move to buck.
