Additional Comments:
Salty is a registered Arabian mare. She was born on 3/16/2000. Salty is chestnut and stands 14.2 hands tall. I have shown her for 4 years and she has earned many ribbons. She got second place in hunt seat equitation at the ND State Fair, grand champ in reigning at 4-H shows, first place in youth team penning, etc. She has a lot of speed and does great in games. Her average time in pole bending is 23 seconds. Salty loves trail rides, she has been in the lake, has been rode along busy roads and was in a parade and did great. Salty also does great bareback with just a halter and lead rope and I started riding her with just a rope around her neck. Salty was bred for speed and is very fast but she also makes a good all around/ 4-H horse. She has loads of endurance. She stops, backs, pivots on her front and hind end, backs into corners, does flying lead changes, works a gate, walks over bridges, side passes, etc. A friend who does rodeo said that she would make a good pick up horse. She also loads, clips, bathes, and is good for the farrier, vet, and dentist. She has never had any hoof problems or needed shoes. She is sure footed, and she always tries to make you proud. She will do almost anything you ask and is a fast learner. She has great bloodlines and is an excellent breeding opportunity. Salty loves kids and attention. Up to date on all shots. Best for an intermediate or experienced rider.
I am starting college in the fall so I dont have much time for her and I will not be able to afford to keep her. If interested, email me at heidimarkman@hotmail.com with any questions or for more photos.
