Really Nice Event/hunter Prospect Recently Backed

Hudzen is a big boy and projected to mature around 16 hands at maturity. This gelding has a huge over step at the walk, a trot that shows nice suspension, and a soft, balanced, three beat canter. He has a very nice disposition, beautiful head and neck and is quite eye-catching to watch. When mature, this guy will be substanital in body, medium boned, good wide chested, strong hind quarters, and he's already very athletic.

Hudzen's dam, spent many years as a proven event horse, fox hunted, and was a patient and kind lesson horse. She is a big girl at 16.2 hands- kind, gentle, and grand daughter of Windfall's sire, Habicht.

Hudzen's sire, is an Arabian stallion, of the older Egyptian race (endurance) bloodlines. This stallion stands just shy of 16 hands (barefoot), with a 9" cannon. He is level headed, with bone, substance, three good clean gaits, and a huge jump. Trained for Hunters, he was unfortunately injured in a paddock accident and never able to enter the show ring.

Hudzen will be a willing and kind partner for an Adult Amateur looking for a wonderful prospect to train up the levels. He should be suitable for hunter, fox hunting, eventing, and lower level dressage. Recently started under saddle, he is showing to be very trainable, very level headed, taking all new things in stride. Hudzen can be shown in ATA in hand futurity classes, and will also be eligible for under saddle classes.
