Additional Comments:
SSR Hickorys Shadow "Hick" is a big strong 2002 bay gelding. He is 15.1 hands tall and he has the breeding to take you wherever you want to go in the performance industry. He is an own son of Docs Hickory (Offspring earnings in excess of $18.6 million in cutting, #15 Leading Reined Cowhorse Sire, an NRHA Leading Sire, Sired 16 AQHA Champion and Reserve World Champions) out of a daughter of Peppy San Badger (NCHA Hall of Fame, AQHA Hall of Fame 2008, NCHA Futurity Open Champion, LTE $172000+, the 4th leading cutting horse sire of all time with offspring earnings of $24.5 million and he is arguably one of the top 5 ranch stallions of all time). He can be used for cutting, reined cow horse events or he would be a great rope horse. He placed 6th in the AQHA non-pro world finals for Versatility Ranch this past January in Colorado. Hick placed second in the reined cow horse and roping sections of the event. At every show we go to we get comments on how well Hick stops. He loves to slide down that arena. We will continue to show Hick and to use him on the ranch until sold. Hick is a powerful horse and would need an experienced rider. Hick will be qualified for the AQHA World Finals again this January for Versatility Ranch. We would consider partial trade for cutting or reining bred broodmares. Make us an offer we just lowered the price. To see other horses visit roanriverranch.blogspot.com.
