Sonny is a phenomenal show horse ready to compete in whatever discipline you what. So far this season he has competed in dressage, English (all types), jumping, western, trail class and halter placing in all and bringing home a few blues for his novice owner. He really excel’s at jumping and English classes but always places in western and has good scores in dressage. Sonny absolutely loves to trail ride! He will pack any beginner down the trails without a spook. He would make a great hubby or novice friend trail horse. We have used him to pony other horses, carry large trail bags, he does through water, ditches, ties, ground ties, pickets, mud and will even go in our pond. At the walk and trot Sonny is safe for any rider and has even been used for the last year as a beginner lesson horse. At the canter he can get a little forward, so as a w/t/c horse he would be best for an advanced beginner. The basics: Sonny is super quiet and easy to handle, easy keeper, doesn’t need shoes and has great feet, clips without a halter (even ears!), ties, cross ties, ground ties, gets in any trailer, is the same whether at home, on the trail or at a show.
