Pokey is a 12 year old purebreed Haflinger gelding. He is 13.1 hands tall and built like a little tank. Very gentle and easy to catch- will walk right up to you. Has seen and heard it all in his lifetime- nothing bothers him. Will ride with a saddle or bareback- very comfortable to ride bareback b/c he's so fat and round. Would be a great horse for a beginner or small child. He is barnsour and will not ride off away from the house without another horse- with another horse he is fine. This is one reason he would make a great kid horse- you can put your child on him and know that he's not going to run off down the road or spook with them- He will stay right around in the yard where they can be seen and watched.
