GORGEOUS mare with the prettiest head you have ever laid eyes on and excellent conformation. She is a chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail and blaze and 3 stockings--looks alot like the original Two Eyed Jack did. She is roaning out from her shoulders back to her hips. . .this mare is FLASHY! This mare cut her front foot and had to have some stitches in it and a bar shoe. There is a small split in the hoof. The vet's opinion is that she will be sound to ride by her 3 yr old year with a scar and may have to have the special shoe on for awhile. My opinion is the same--though I dont know if she will need a special shoe or not . However, since she has this condition, I am selling her as broodmare sound only. She will probably be fine to ride and someone will be getting an excellent deal. . .but we have too many horses and need to cut back. She has been exposed to my tri colored APHA stallion (also listed on this site) for a late spring 2010 foal. We dont normally breed our 2 year olds, but she is a BIG filly and we thought she could raise a foal while we are waiting for her to heal or sell. This mare is very gentle and easy to handle. My 4 year old daughter plays with her and pets her. SHe is easy to clip and UTD on everything except Coggins and it has run out but will get a new one if sold. Please email with any questions--must sell some horses. . .make an offer or will trade on AQHA/APHA gelding. UPDATE: This mare is vet checked and confirmed bred to our tri colored tobiano APHA stud. She is getting better and better and farrier thinks she will be sound to ride by the time her colt is weaned. Has a bar shoe on her injured foot and almost never limps with the shoe on unless she is running hard or bucking and playing. Email for more info.
