Additional Comments:
Saribel Cruz, aka Flirt, is smart, quiet, and sound for all disciplines. She would make a great mount for an intermediate rider looking for a hunter, eventer, or lower level dressage horse. Flirt really bonds to her special someone. With her willing attitude, Flirt would also be a natural fit for the teenager graduating from a pony. This attractive, dark bay mare stands quietly for the farrier, lunges, cross ties or ties to a post, won’t blink at water, is quiet for tacking, mounting, and grooming. In fact, her foster mom reports she is a statue while getting a bath! She is sensible and curious when confronted with new things and learns quickly. In addition to all this, Flirt is very sensitive and responsive to her rider and handlerâ€"a great combination. Flirt trained for sixty days this spring under a dressage rider, and this summer started jumping and loves it! Flirt yields, collects at the canter and halts from the rider’s seat.Flirt just turned 4 in May and is still growing. We believe she will mature over 16h. She retired from racing in November 2008 and was donated to FFI by Mast Thoroughbreds after receiving no bids at the Hoosier Park Paddock Sale.VIDEO & PHOTOS on our website.Adoption Fee: $2000 Flirt's adoption fee goes towards transitioning another horse from the track. Cash, Check, PayPal and Credit Cards are accepted.
