Blossom is a beautiful mare that is free only to the very best of homes. She is very brave over fences and has never refused. She was on the hotter side when she was young, but she has calmed down over the years. I have used her for lessons, and she was great. Blossom is sound for lighter riding without an medication, but she does have some arthritis in her LH pastern from a old injury, and gets a little sore if she is being worked hard everyday. Blossom throws gorgeous foals, and you can see her '09 colt, and '10 filly are both by Landonn (an imported Holsteiner by Lordship out of Madeleine) on this site.... (read more) Blossom is an excellent mother, and being buckskin would make an excellent addition to any breeding program. Blossom is 1/4 Trakehner, 1/4 Thoroughbred, and 1/2 Quarter Horse so she basically a glorified appendix. Blossom is inspected and approved in the RPSI mare book. I have provided a couple links of blossom with her '09 baby Prince, and you can see what a gorgeous boy he is, and what a nice mover Blossom is. Email for more pictures an info. Blossom's price is very negotiable to the right home. She is priced way below value, and I would really just like to see a breeder come along and snatch her up. She might be getting a little older, but she still has some good years left in her. She is easy to get in foal, and even though we waited until later in her life to breed her she has thrown two very nice foals, and her size doesn't indicate what she will throw. Princess Leia (2010's filly) is a good 14.3hh at 11 months old. Also the RPSI international judge is so pleased with the type of foals she has been producing that he encouraged us to breed her back to Landonn, and he really isn't a big fan of Quarter Horses, so that was a huge praise coming for him. Blossom Produces gorgeous movers and both her foals have been awarded premium at their inspections, with very good scores on movement. Prince got a 7.7, and Leia received a 8.6. Blossom is a wonderful mare to add to a breeding program if you are looking for a inexpensive way of getting a superior herd.
