Ernie is a flashy paint pony that was used for pony rides at fairs by his previous owner. He stands for farrier, baths, body clipping (even ears), shots, loads into the trailer with no problems, has no vices, and is an easy keeper. He is now serving as a lesson horse in a theraputic riding program. He is ridden daily by beginner students of various ages (anywhere from 8-14) provided they are not too heavy for him. He is broke to pull a cart and is currently being trained by the students and supervisors to polish off his basic skills such as steering, gait transitions, speed consistency etc.Ernie would be a great addition to any family looking for a great all-around pony. He is has a very refined head and neck and enough action in his gaits to be successful in the driving classes at shows.
