Brownie is a 9 year old AQHA registered gelding who is absolutely gorgeous! He is 14.3 and weighs 1150 lbs. He is built like a bulldog, he has a wide chest and big hip. He jumps right into the trailer, is great for the farrier, bathes, and clips. He is utd. on all shots, just got his teeth floated, tube wormed every 6 months and paste in between, current neg. coggins, gets his feet done every 4-5 weeks. I have done some Parelli groundwork with him, he is a very quick learner and always aims to please. He rides bareback like a dream, opens gates, I ride him on trails weekly,I wouldn't say he is bombproof on the trails, but does better each time! He will go through heavy Cedar trees and over logs and down through small creeks. He works off the legs great, he sidepasses, backs with leg pressure, neck reins great, has never ever bucked or reared up. He was previously used on a ranch in Oklahoma and I originally got him to team penn off of, but have had multiple surgeries and have not yet. I will start hauling him to team pennings in 6 weeks if not sold and then his price will go back up. I have thrown a rope of of him, and I have also ponied a horse off of him. He is not for a beginner though...he would be best suited for someone who is experienced on the ground and in the saddle. He is very responsive to any cue that you use whether it be on the ground or in the saddle. He needs a job! I hate to sell him, because I absolutely love him, and he works really good, but I have three horses and can't afford it anymore due to some upcoming surgeries. He will only go to a good home!
