Sierra - Sane, sensible and athletic

3 y/o Bay Thoroughbred Mare

Sane, sensible and athletic

Sierra is a kind, sane mare that returned home from a professional trainer in late summer. Shortly after I was unable to ride and we just pulled her from the field after 2 months off. Except for being out of shape, was easy to ride. She is very uncomplicated and rides like a much larger horse. The person helping me can't believe how level headed she is, especially at only 3 and been off. During summer she didn't even care when a neighbor starting shooting off fireworks while under saddle. Has never needed lunging prior to a ride, same horse if ridden daily or weekly. I used her to give my visiting beginner Niece a lesson this summer with the trainer and Sierra acted like an old pro tolerating her shortcomings. She has been introduced to O/F, but has not been worked extensively because of her age. She is always willing and never ducks out or refuses. Although very quiet and kind she is green and needs a beginner with a trainer or a more advanced rider. A video is on our website. She has never been to the track - started U/S for a sport horse career - no re-training or wear and tear from racing.
