Additional Comments:
"Smoothie" got her name because of her super-smooth jog. She was broke as a 2 year old and ridden for a year and a half and was bred at 4 and has been a broodmare since--she is 13. She is not a true black, more like a black with brown points, so I guess she is technically a brown, but she is registered bay--has alot of palomino in her background also. I bought her for a barrel horse prospect, but got divorced and ended up breeding her and turning her out because of limited riding time. She is VERY fast and rides good. ..it has just been several years since she has been ridden and she would need tuning up if you wanted to ride her. She has never offered to buck or do anything mean, just likes to go.She is a big, pretty mare that is a pretty mover and an easy keeper. All her foals grow fast and get BIG and have excellent conformation and movement. She has a tri-colored Paint filly at her side by my stallion and is bred back currently to the same stud for 2010 (see the filly's ad under Splendid Painted Jet, and stud's ad under Splendid Painted King). I will sell them seperate or together as a 2-n-1 deal. Seperate the mare is $1500 and the filly is $1000. If you buy together I will take $2000 and you get the mare and the filly and mare is open for 2010, she didnt stick on foal heat, and it is so late in the year, I am not going to stress her or the stud and breed her so late. I am only selling her because i have too many mares and even though she is one of the best, I have too many, and have to let one of the others go. . .
