Super sweet velvety black gelding. Maverick has a solid muscular build with high stepping, sure footed action. Maverick is gentle and great on the ground. He will stand to mount/dismount, neck reins like a champ, parks out, backs up, clip, bathe, loads easy, stand patiently in cross ties to be groomed and enjoys being around people. Maverick is a pleaser he takes his job very seriously. Powerful engine that can purr soft and gently, you pick the speed he can do it. Maverick has a great rack that he can take up to 26 mph if you feel the need for speed. He also has one of the most comfortable flat walks you will ever ride. Sure footed, solid trail mount that has 12 years of experience under his belt. Maverick is an excellent trail horse. He is confident and will go out alone and never look back. Maverick can be your trail buddy who will gait at a nice soft speed and handle any terrain. If you want to have a little fun and taking it up a notch he will delight you. Great sensible mind, great gaits, not spooky, just rock solid. Maverick has been exposed to it all; dogs, deer, turkeys, schools letting out, cars, traffic, dirt bikes, atv's, children, construction sites, high winds, plastic bags, trash trucks...Flawless. Super horse that advanced beginners will enjoy.
