8 y/o red roan Belgian/QH cross gelding. Big boned, big footed, ready to do any job. Has been trail ridden all over the Sonoran Desert and the trails around Maricopa. He has been on trail rides as long as 12 hours. He handles water, washes, desert and mountains with ease. Sure footed and confident. He has been to many gymkhana's and small horseshows. He deals with city life fine too. Trailers well, stands quietly tied. Been on 2 and 3 days campouts...ties to picket line or trailer. Great for the farrier, has been floated and current on all vaccines and deworming. Jake is best for an intemediate rider, as he is big and strong. He would be fine with a beginner in the arena. He neck reins, works of his hocks and rides around like a QH. He side passes and works gates. He has worked cattle, he has pulled dead tree stumps and just general ranch work. He ground drives well, ready to have a cart hitched to him. Jake has had 6 months of professional training with his start in natural horsemanship. If you are looking for a big horse, this is your guy. Owner is selling due to having heart surgery.
