Lightning is a 4 year old solid paint bred mare. This horse loves to work and needs a home with a job! She had 60 days professional training in 2008 and we have used her to move cows from pasture to pasture, to trail cows home, and to sort cows in our pen system. I don't have the time this horse deserves and would like to see her go to a home where she would be used consistently in a ranching situation or put into a training program for cutting, penning, reining, working cowhorse or roping! This mare spent the winter in the bull pen and it wasn't uncommon to see her gather up and cut the bulls on her own just to stave off boredom! I think this mare could make you some money in the cutting pen or burning barrels!! I have too many horses and need to move some out so I am willing to negotiate if you will give her the home she needs.
