Gem is a true diamond in the making. She is 6 years old but her foaling date is unknown. I rescued her from near starvation last fall and she is the sweetest mare I've ever known. I was told that she is a Percheron/Quarter cross and has had one foal.I haven't done any real work with her but she is very easy to handle on the ground and when I did ride her she was very slow. She should make a fantastic riding or driving horse with some basic training. I see her as a husband horse or babysitter extraordinnaire after she has some miles put on her by an experienced horse person! If you fancy english riding...can't you see her doing dressage?
