Additional Comments:
SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE! This one is definitely a "wide glide" with the bulldog foundation build. BSQH Zan Parr T Boy (pending in association) AQHA/NFQHA 85%/FQHR 91% 2009 bay roan stud colt. Eligible for 4 registries! Born 3-21-09. LOOK AT HIS PEDIGREE! You just cannot go wrong with the historical foundation greats such as Wimpy P-1, King-P234, Poco Bueno, Doc Bar, Docs Prescription, Two Eyed Jack, Sir Quincy Dan to name a few in his pedigree. He is as friendly and sweet as can be and he is going to be one heck of an athlete. His ritual at feeding time is to run from his Dam to a nearby tree and run around it back to his Dam. He already shows natural ability to rate his speed, pick his pocket, and head home full throttle with a sliding stop to show off. His Dam holds many NBHA championship titles and his Sire is a retired header/heeler, so timed events are in his blood. He has an excellent disposition and a great brain just like his parents. His conformation is correct with straight legs, short back, nicely angled shoulder, and a good hip. All of our studs foals are super easy to handle and are always the pasture pets. He will be perfect for someone wanting to raise their own horse for a lifetime of friendship and adventures. A beginning horseman will be able to easily train/handle him. At 1 day old I haltered him without any fuss. He let me adjust the halter several times to ensure a proper fit. At 5 days of age I groomed him from head to tail and picked up his hooves. He just absolutely LOVES butt scratches and he is a FLIRT. If his color, conformation, athletic ability and personality arent enough just take a look at his pedigree. His pedigree top and bottom is jam packed with AQHA Hall of Fame legends (performance and halter legends). His Dam was extremely well cared for during pregnancy with UTD vaccinations (including pneumobort)/de worming and proper nutrition, so he is the picture of perfect health. He is going to shed out to a bay roan just like all of his siblings have roaned (white hairs present throughout body). Herda N/N. Sire and Dam on site. Sire's pics/info on website. He should mature to 15.2-16.0 hands. His sire always outproduces himself in stature. A deposit will hold him until weaning. We will work with arrangements to the perfect home, but please don't insult us. Our foals are high quality, well bred w/correct conformations and great minds. You will be hard pressed to find these bloodlines all in one foal. We ask all of our new owners to stay in touch so we can watch our babies grow up. Call Dan. Visit our websites bluesteelquarterhorses.com and sweetironfarm.com. Thank you for inquiring. Price reflects current market conditions and not quality of foal. This is a buyers market this year.

Sweet Iron Farm - Sweet Iron Farm is home to our personal riding horses, our show horses, and horses we have in training or for resale after training.
Blue Steel Quarter Horses is a family owned and operated breeding operation based around the rare and eye-catching blue roan color. Blue roans are very hard to produce which makes them very rare. We specialize in National Foundation Quarter Horses. Our mission is to breed the Quarter Horse back into the American Quarter Horse. This means not a drop more than 20% Thoroughbred blood. Our AQHA/NFQHA mares and stallions offer the classic foundation bloodlines that established American Quarter Horse history. Our favorites include Sir Quincy Dan, Leo, Wimpy P-1, Doc Bar, Two-Eyed Jack, and King P-234. Our entire broodmare band has been discriminately hand picked for their pedigree, conformation, brains, movement, and attitude. We will not breed a horse that cannot contribute qualities to better the breed standards.
We raise horses that can be successful in any discipline whether the buyers goal is to trail ride or compete in the show arena. Adding color to our horses has made us increasingly popular, evidenced by repeat buyers. |
