He is a two year old gelding by Poco Pal Gal, with bloodlines out of Poco Pine, Doc Bar, Doc O'Lena, Pelly San, Leo, and other fantastic, foundation quarter horse lines.Rocky is extremely smart, with a wonderful attitude to learn new things. He has a great personality and is the first one to come to the gate for attention. He loads like a champ, is great with the farrier and vet. Rocky gets along great with other horses, but is happy to go off alone with just you. He is not herd Bound.Rocky has a natural "cow sense." I would love to see someone get him who will put him to work on cows. He is pastured next to cows and he stares at them all day. He would love to have a job on cows.Rocky has been started under saddle. He's completed his ground work- lounging, bathing, leading, and a few light rides under saddle. Our Full Care Board is only $295mo and includes a huge 18' x 10' stall, premium feeds catered to your horse's needs twice daily, quality grass hay, daily turnout, plus all of our amenities. Pasture Board is only $185mo which includes a 40 acre pasture for your horse to play on, grassy pastures, woods to get out of the sun, a HUGE run in barn to escape the elements, premium feed once daily so that we can monitor the health of your horse. Amenities include a large, lighted outdoor arena, miles and miles of wooded trails, boarder tack room, an indoor and an outdoor hot/cold washrack, grooming stalls, and lots, lots more!
