Our kids are grown and the wife does not ride anymore, thus we regretfully are offering Rocky for sale. He has been with us for 8 years and has logged many trial miles, carrying my kids, and guests safely across fields, up and down hills, across bogs, creeks, etc.
Rocky has a smooth saddle gait and a beautiful, easy canter. Although he is shorter
in stature, Rocky is capable of carrying a heavier person, as he is sturdy and muscular. Rocky has the look of a traditional Tennessee Walking Horse, stocky and large-boned. I have only ever seen one Walkin' horse with bigger feet and that horse was 17.5 hands tall! He has carried his 250+ owner over countless hills trail riding throughout Ohio and loves to get out. He craves human interaction and loves any attention. Rocky stands well to groom and saddle, and lifts his hooves easily to be picked. He also loads easily and stands well for the farrier.
