Ibha / Abra Mare Athletic and Personable

As of August 25 Tawny has had just over 200 days riding and stands 15h at the withers. Still growing. Has been used for a few adult novice lessons, worked cattle for 30 days on the ranch, went on a poker run, and got her first set of shoes! Really filly out nice. New photos avail. via email!

Photo is of the first day she was saddled and are taken in the round pen. Filly has 60 days riding fall '08 (September to November)- this mare is an absolute dream. Three fantastic gaits, beautiful natural lead changes, SUPER athletic. She's friendly and feminine as well! She's lofty, smooth to ride, and really personable and intelligent!

Dam was an arabian mare whos papers were lost at the sale barn. I have the BREEDERS SIGNATURES and her IBHA ARBA papers are waiting on green grass for photos so I can send them in!

This mare is an awesome youth prospect - six months riding and she's going to be a kids horse delux! Has never in her training bucked, reared, kicked. She's sound and sane. Good with all four feet and her first trailer ride to our place was effortless. This mare has always come right up to you in the pasture - even around other horses. She loves to be handled, groomed. She's easy to catch, halter, bridle, saddle. She free lunges or will go on a line wherever you put her - we've done lots of lunging in the field with only the line - no whip. She's sensitive to body language and voice cues.

Sane, Sound, and BEAUTIFUL! She's quick and catty - would make superb performance prospect - leads are gorgeous and when she comes back into training in March we'll be working on getting those lead changes under saddle!

Tawny can be stalled or put in the pasture. Her 60 days were western but I have ridden her english some. She also rides bareback in a halter. Very supple - riding in a hollow mouth snaffle. She can ride with aids (training forks, spurs, draw reins, etc) or not as you desire. She has also been ridden with a quarter sheet and wasn't the least bit spooky!
