Additional Comments:
Updated and New Info: Cheyenne is a very flashy leopard appaloosa. She is 15+ hands, and about 1200lbs. I've had her for 5 years, and have ridden her in many trail rides and parades. I've ridden her through ponds with other horses in a group, and in rough trails. She rides in traffic, and is fine around dogs. I haven't ridden her in a little over a year, due to pregnancy and new baby. I am selling her, cause with the baby, I have no time to ride anymore. She needs a home with someone that will ride her and take her out on trails. When I purchased her I didn't notice that she had a "quick step". I noticed it about two days later while she was walking out in the pasture. You can see it in the video I took of me riding her recently, (It is more noticable than I remembered). I took her to the vet to get it checked out. He said it was due to an old injury that healed too tight, and this is her range of motion. There is no pain associated with it. She can and has carried a rider at 245lbs. She can be bred, and ridden at any and all speeds. The "quick step" is a slight cosmetic feature, and I don't want it to affect the way you feel about purchasing her. She can still do anything you want her to do. I have enjoyed having her in my life and she is a great horse. I just rode her recently after being out to pasture for over a year, and she did good overall. At trail rides, she is awsome!!! She is easy to walk up to and catch in a 90 acre pasture. Updated info- I rode her this saturday and she did great. (I have video at the ad website). I worked her for about an hour. She neck reins to the left very well, and tossed her head when I tried to neck rein her to the right. So she is a little rusty as I assumed, but still in good condition. After riding her, I believe that she is worth well more than the $900.00 I listed her for, but I will keep her at this price, cause she is just a little rusty. I am riding her again tuesday, and saturday this week, to tune her up a bit. She is also turned out with my (Not quite two year old stud). She is exposed, but probably not bred. He has just started trying to mount my mares.

Company / Facility:
Vlorie Family Horses - I have several family trail horses, with no time to ride. I also look for good deals on nice sound horses that needs some TLC, and take care of them until they can be sold to great homes. All information on these horses are correct to the best of my knowldge. Any broke horse that I sell, I ride myself and try to post a video. |
