Mike's Pride is a 16 hand 6 year old registered Thoroughbred black gelding for sale. He is big-bodied, straight legged, and has a cute face. He is truly black, with only a star and hind pastern white. He has been off the track for a couple of years, being a pasture pet, but his owners are looking for a new home for him now. When he was at the track, apparently he was so quiet that he did not even need to be ponied to the starting gates. However, he has not been ridden since he came off the track, so probably needs a rider with some experience to teach him the ropes of a new discipline. He is sound on an old bow. He is in excellent condition and up to date on all care. This horse is a sweetie looking for a new job! Would be a lovely dressage, trail or lower level jumping prospect.
