Additional Comments:
Bootes is a proven sire, with 3 offspring on the ground and two more due this spring. He won 1st Place Stallion 1-2 yrs. Old, Junior Champion Stallion, Reserve Grand Champion Stallion and Best American-Bred Stallion at the Western Regional Clydesdale Show in 2002. He’s out of Dew Ridge Peggy of Tine from Bill Cey’s farm in Alberta, by the well-known Armageddon’s Lord Elijah of Indiana’s Grand View Farm.Bootes is broke to ride. Very suitable for intro up to possibly 2nd level dressage. He has a big comfortable trot and canter, very smooth and consistant. He’s been ridden in an arena, in pastures, and on the road. Bootes has been jumped over cross-rails and he has a blast! I would love to see him in the hunter ring! He has no vices, is well-behaved for the vet and farrier, loads and bathes easily. Well-mannered and respectful of fences, he was imprinted and handles easily. Can be gelded on site with purchase. He is such a gentle stallion, can be ridden with mares or cross-tied near them. Stalled nightly by mares. Never a bad move from him!Bootes is kin to all but two mares in the herd, so he is unsuitable to be kept for herd sire. He is ready for his new family!
