Apple is a 7 year old Appaloosa/Haflinger cross mare. She is approximately 14.1hh. She is very stocky and is built to carry some weight. Apple had recently been sitting for 18 months! When we got on her for the first time since then she walked right off on a loose rein. No problems at all, no buck, no rear, no bolt. She would great for someone who needs a horse that doesn't get silly if they only ride on the weekends, or for someone that doesn't ride in the winter and doesn't want a horse they have to retrain every spring. She goes english and western. She loves to be out on the trail and is very responsive in the ring. She will walk/trot/canter/back. She is willing to jump, and she will practically do a sliding stop when you say "woah." She has good ground manners and will stand for brushing, tacking, trimming. She is currently barefoot and has great feet. She is a very easy keeper and is currently not on any grain or supplements. She has a very sweet personality and is not a marish at all. She loves to be pet and brushed and fussed over. Apple is very responsive to leg and has a very supple mouth. Therefore her rider should have soft hands and a good seat to be able to bring out the best in her. However she is tolerant and would probably be fine for a beginner who has the basics and who is taking lessons or working with someone. She is great on the trail and will go through anything you ask her to. She is good out with mares and geldings. Not a kicker or biter. Loads in the trailer, leads, ties, bathes. We are going to be teaching her to drive (she might already know how) so her price will be increasing if we get her driving. Asking $2800
