I bought this mare several weeks ago because she was in such poor condition. She has put on quite a bit of weight and is doing much better. She is super friendly and is starting to buck and play around when turned out. We rode her to see what she knew and she does ride. She neck reins, stops easily and backs up. I think she needs a few more miles before a beginner can ride her but she is calm and easy to handle. She would make an excellent trail or pleasure horse in my opinion.
