Rosie is a good-natured, very quiet mare. She's never been foundered...never offered to kick, bite, rear, buck, or spook either. She's used to cars, 4-wheelers, lots of dogs...and the somewhat irritating affection of my 5 year old daughter who's been riding her for about a year. (She's decided she wants something gaited...) Rosie has a nice little trot and lope and supposedly knows the barrel pattern (never tried her). She's UTD on coggins. Good for farrier and loads easily. She rides out alone or in a group...great on the trail. Yes, she can be a little stubborn, but the smaller the rider, the less stubborn she gets...a real babysitter. A very SAFE pony. I don't know if she pulls, but I would bet she does. She's a big-boned pony so she'd last your child a good long time. Rides bareback with a halter and leadrope or saddled with a tom thumb.
