For sale or lease (lease price is $100/month) - 9-year old super gentle mare that is safe for anyone. The picture is of my dad riding her and he is 71 and hadn't been on a horse for 25 years. Fiona is one of the most even-tempered horses around and is calm and steady each time you get her out to ride. She is used as a lesson horse for kids and has been shown the last 2 years in 4-H, has been hauled all over to 4-H meetings, to shows and into town to give rides at events. She also has been used for pony rides at birthday parties and has been hauled to community events at the firestation and Trails and Rails museum to give rides. Healthy, sound and GREAT for kids and adults to learn on, it's hard to find a more reliable, safe horse. Small kids can catch her in a pen and get her out to ride. She has incredible patience and is very respectful of people. If you are looking for a starter horse for kids she's hard to beat, and she's young and athletic enough for kids to have fun on for many years to come.
