Takoda is a twelve year old 16 hand tall gelding. I bought this big tall beautiful gelding with great hopes of jumping him. I was told he was an english horse and could jump. Turns out Takoda is more of a Open Show Horse. He has great training and can cross both Western and English pleasure,He also has training in Showmanship. He has gone over cross rails but has no desire to really jump. He would make an excellent Youth or Amature Horse for Open shows, 4-H, and would also do great at APHA shows. He would make a great walk-trot orl ead line horse too. My seven year old son and four year old daughter have been taking lesson on him for walk trot and lead line. I do plan to show him in Open shows in Showmanship,English and Western Pleasure,Equitation,Horsemanship,trail and have my kids show him lead-line and walk trot. He is for sale because I really need an Eventing horse and Takoda is not an eventer. Big gentle gelding anyone can ride, loves to go on the trails, stands tied for the farrier and UTD on everything. He will be tuned up and shown at open shows until sold. He is registered His sire is Sonny Poco Dee out of Red Sonny Dee By Sonny Dee BAr and on his Dam's side he has Beau Shoshone by Painted Shoshone
