I have a 2007 APHA sorrel colt. CLUE THIS MARK He is a nice little colt.. easy going would do anything for you..nothing seems to really bother him..he looks for you every morning. would make a excellent 4-H project. he clips, bathes, stands for the farrier...saddle's fine.. briddles fine.. works of his hip nicely. has 30 days professional training on him. he stops off your legs! breaks at the poll! Went to his first show last week (aug15) and got 5th in walk/ trot. He is out of Poisonous! D &B Quarter Horses - I will train a horse that isn't halter broke to finishing a horse in any of the following disciplines; western, English, western riding, bridle less riding, contesting and trail. I charge $35 per hour and like the owner of the horse to learn my training techniques so they know what to do with the horse when they are working with them. I also do monthly training. I charge $350 a month when the horse in for training is boarded at my barn. The monthly training includes me working with the horse at least 25 times per month.
My main goal when training is to have a calm respectable horse on the ground and in the saddle. I believe the proper ground work is the key to most problems.
I give lessons to beginners up to experienced riders. I also will give lessons to all ages; no one is too young or too old in my eyes I charge $25 per private lesson and $20 per rider for a group lesson. Lessons usually last 1 1/2 hours because i guarantee an hour on the horses back.
I have 15 years of experience training horses/riders. I’m certified in horse psychology & behavior I have had 6 different personal trainers and I study John Lyons, Chris Cox, Clinton Anderson, Craig Cameron and many others on a consistent basis. I believe you can never know everything and the same techniques do not work on every horse. I have shown in all of the above disciplines and have done very well.
