Captain Jack is looking for a forever home

http://www.equinenow.com/156994
Jack is a very special horse. He was diagnosed with Navicular 9 years ago and was retired shortly after. He has been barefoot for the last year and doing well. He will limp after hard play or turn out but other than that does quite well. He is currently on no medications. Jack would benefit from a pasture, large turn out or daily hand walks. Would make a good companion horse for a lonely horse or horse loving human looking for a special friend. He has been a companion horse to my mare for the last 7 years. Jack is a cribber but with regular excersise, companionship and a change in his diet has helped to deter it and I have not seen him do it in quite sometime. Other than cribbing and his Navicular he is in good health and has no other stall vices. He is being advertised as a companion horse as I have not ridden him for 9 years and unsure if he would ever be able to return to service. He is free to an approved good home only! All potential homes will be screened. Adopter required to sign a no slaughter, no auction agreement. Again a GOOD forever home is a MUST!!No Horse brokers or dealers please. For more information please feel free to contact me.
