Registered name is Norman, but we have taken to calling him Sherman. He is a green 4 year old registered haflinger. He is absolutely gorgeous, he will get you noticed in the show ring. AWSOME potential. He is green, but not stupid. He is just extremely lazy. Needs some work on ground manners. I was helping someone out-they just couldn't care for him anymore. EASY KEEPER. He needs to go somewhere where he will be worked regularly. I am in college and do not have time for him. PROJECT HORSE deluxe. He just a big sweetheart. In your pocket kind of horse. Sherman does need a very confident rider-he senses timid riders and will take advantage of them. UTD on all shots and coggins. He does great for the farrier. Sherman is slightly pigeon toed, but does not interfere at all. My farrier said it would do more harm than good to try and reshape them. Please call or e-mail. UPDATE: Norman's ground manners have improved drastically. He is still a little pushy at times, and he still needs a firm hand, but that's a haflinger for you. He now yeilds his both his front and hind feet, and will stay with you when leading instead of tackling you :D. I rode him regularly over Christmas break and while he still needs a lot of work, he is now giving some to the bit vertically and he gives to the bit laterally very nicely. I am still working on him moving away from leg pressure, but he is beginning to pick it up. If I still have him come summer time, he will be trained extensively and shown, so his price will go up-get him now while you can.
