Black Hawk is a 38" tall ASPC registered foundation classic Shetland stalllion. He is sired by the Hall Of Fame pony, J-J's Painted Hawk (by J-J's Painted Apache) and is out of a J-J's Painted Apache daughter. His grand dam is the hall of fame mare, Sadie's Sassy. This is a super well bred black frame overo stallion that should stay small enough to hardship into the AMHR this summer. He has been shown one time, at the National Shetland Congress where he was 3rd in classic under two year old stallions. He is a nice country pleasure type mover. Black Hawk has an outstanding disposition and is willing to please. Super nice neck, tiny ears and straight legs. He has not been tested but should be considered lethal white positive due to the heavy amount of frame overo breeding in his bloodline. He is also very likely homozygous black but has not been tested. Black Hawk is currently running with yearling stallions and will be shown later in the year if not sold.
