Ol' Scarecrow is a 7 year old registered Thoroughbred gelding who had knee surgery as a 2 year old to correct a track injury. We were told he was not given the proper time to heal on that knee, resulting in a joint that is slightly larger than the other, but we see no signs of swelling or lameness. This is a BIG 16+ hand horse who is a dark bay w/ no white markings. He is in good weight, is kind and sensible and should make a fine mount for an experienced rider. He is a bit of a nervous Nelly and needs someone who is quiet and patient. He takes a while to warm up to people, but once he does, he is an angel! He gets along very well with other horses.
