I have come to a place in my life where I must face reality. I can no long ride like I did when I was 30 or even 40, so my loss is your gain. I am letting my mare go because she is young and needs to be with someone that can ride her and use her the way she deserves. It is time for me to start driving older, dead broke buggy horses. Lena is the sweetest, kindest little mare I have run into in a long time. That is one of the main reason I bought her, the other being her bloodlines. She is a real people horse; that is not to say she does not get along well in the herd, but she is low in the pecking order. Maybe that is why she loves human attention so much. She has had 4 months of professional training and has been brought along right, no rough stuff. Everything she knows was taught to her, not beat into her. Her rider will have control of all parts of her from her head to her hips, she side passes, half passes and has a very good stop on her. It is not a sliding stop, that is not what I wanted, but she does stop on her rear end. Lena would make a top notch trail horse or a superior 4-H horse due to her fantastic disposition and her willingness. When you are ready, she will be the greatest of broodmares because of her highly desirable bloodlines and Grulla color. In most of those pictures she has her winter duds on, so you can not see her pretty color, however you can get an idea of it in the first picture of that ad which was taken during the summer last year, or this picture which is from her registration papers.
