Bartlett is a super sweet, quiet, and laid back guy. He catches on extremely fast and has a great work ethic. Pleasing his rider is his main priority, and he has a take-care-of-you demeanor. He is going very consistently walk/trot/canter, and is really learning how to stretch into the bridle. He will eventually start over fences, and would be very cute over lower level fences. He would be suitable for just about any discipline including: lower level dressage/jumping, western, and trail-riding, and he would be okay for a more advanced beginner rider. He would also make a wonderful children's horse and would be a great pony club/4H prospect. Nothing really phases this guy, making him a very sturdy and safe mount. Bartlett is up to date on all vaccinations, farrier work (barefoot sound), parasite control, and recently had his teeth floated. Stands well for the vet, farrier, and is an easy traveler. Bartlett is available for adoption through Friends of Ferdinand Inc. He has received 60 days training and Bartlett's ideal home is as a first horse for an advanced beginner rider that is working with a trainer. Bartlett's adoption fee is used to save another horse and credit cards are accepted. Please contact us with any questions that you may have.
