Sjoerd is an elegant, Purebred Friesian, imported from the Netherlands. Sjoerd is registered with FPZV and made Star stallion in his inspection as a 3 year old by both the Germans and the Dutch - he is a RARE DOUBLE STAR stallion and he was found to have outstanding conformation, movement and quality by BOTH the Dutch and German Inspectors!
He has been tested by UC Davis to be Homozygous for black, you will never get a chestnut foal out of Sjoerd. He has a wonderfully kind disposition and a very striking, regal appearance even at his tender age. I love his long, upright, majestic neck and he has a way of going that just permeates elegance. He is much shorter coupled than many Friesians and combined with his correct conformation, he will be an outstanding cross on many breeds of mares to make incredible athletic sport horses.
