Additional Comments:
Annie is very sweet and loves attention. She is halter broke, leads, stands for grooming and you can pick up all mess with her hooves. The color is obvious. Four white stockings is flashy and not very common. In the picture she looks to be quite long in the pastern. This should make for a seamless 'air-cushioned' ride'. She most definitely has a kind eye on her and can be expected to be a dutiful and faithful servant of her owner once he/she has earned her trust and has learned how to communicate to her what it is he/she wants from her. The beauty of her head begins with her crown of lovely ears, is accentuated by two dreamy and widely-set honest eyes, and culminated by her darling mouth and lips with neither jaw over-reaching the other. She'll lift a sugar cube off a dew-covered maple leaf early in the morning and never knock a drop of dew off the leaf.
Moving back, I'd say her trim neck blends very nicely into a very strong set of shoulders; probably her strongest attribute. This is the part of her running gear that will always first approach and attack any obstacle the trail may offer. With those shoulders she will rise to meet it handily. Her strong shoulders probably contribute to what I see as her only fault - a nearly absent wither for holding the saddle. This can be compensated for with a perfectly fitting set of bars on her saddle and a good britch'en to hold it back on stops and terrain decents. A crooper will not get the job done for this girl.
That short back of hers should be strong and straight for 30 years or more.
